a glimpse into a world where biological and artificial intelligence have merged into new life forms. a pix2pix-next-frame-prediction deep learning model predicts the natural growth cycle of a watercress plant. these predicted frames are then used to train the model again, to predict the future of this prediction. while natural plants use photosynthesis, the conversion of light energy into chemical energy to power the organism’s development, this biomorph is fed images to fuel its synthetic growth cycle.
